What is "the Creighton Model?"
The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System is a standardized method of tracking and evaluating a woman's health and fertility. Through the tracking of biomarkers, natural signs that indicate the presence of health or illness, fertility or infertility, a woman can use the system in a number of ways. These uses include:
- Monitoring and maintaining health
- Managing menstrual and hormonal disorders
- Addressing causes of infertility and seeking solutions
- Avoiding and achieving pregnancies
The Creighton Model is composed of two cooperative allied health services that are devoted to restorative women's healthcare:
- FertilityCare: Charting with a practitioner to learn the standardized system and access natural and clinically cooperative solutions
- NaProTECHNOLOGY is the specialized medical practice associated with fertility awareness. Using a woman's Creighton Model standardized charts, trained NaPro providers offer restorative medical care that targets the root cause, not masking the symptoms! NaProTECHNOLOGY medical consultants work hand-in-hand with FertilityCare practitioners to find real, working solutions for your specific needs.

MONITOR YOUR HEALTH
Monitor Your Health
The Creighton Model FertilityCare System is taught by a professionally educated practitioner. With your practitioner, you will learn how to chart and manage your cycles, discovering patterns of wellness and beginning management of menstrual abnormalities and disorders. Women who experience ovarian cysts, painful periods, endometriosis, PMS or PMDD, and many other hormonal abnormalities can access treatment through NaProTECHNOLOGY, the medical application of the Creighton Model. NaProTECHNOLOGY is the standardized medical practice of the Creighton Model, providing care by trained medical consultants who serve in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Medicine, Pharmacy, Naturopathy, and others.
The FertilityCare system helps women to maintain health by seeking both natural and cooperative clinical solutions. As a Creighton Model practitioner, I work individually with women, teaching the skills of tracking and evaluating their own health and fertility.

PLAN + SPACE PREGNANCY
Space Pregnancies + Family Planning
There are many options families use to avoid or space pregnancies. Thanks to effective natural methods like the Creighton Model, which bears a 99.5%² method effectiveness rate for avoiding pregnancy, there are ways to maintain or grow your family size without using hormonal birth control or other forms of long or short acting contraception.
There are many reasons a couple may choose a natural method of family planning. Many choose them to time or space pregnancies because they're safe, free of unwanted side-effects, aligned with one's religion or spirituality, or because they can be stopped at any time without a lasting effect on a woman's health or fertility. For over 30 years, women and couples have chosen to use the standardized Creighton Model as an effective method for family planning³.
